A little look at my weekend.

Monday Love.

I can't believe I haven't posted all week! Thank you all for loving on my photos. :) They are probably some of my favorites. My monday was a bit stressful, I just wrote a whole paper and turned it in with two minutes to spare. But, now it's over and I can watch old movies (How to Marry a Millionaire is on now) and relax.

So, this is what I've been up to the past week: 

These are my nieces Claire, and Olivia! Olivia was born on thursday around 1 o'clock and I'm so excited to go see her this weekend!!! Claire is 3 and a big sister! I love these girls. :)

This is Emma. She's the first baby in our group! Hopefully I'll be getting one over the summer to be her best friend. :)


I brought glee karaoke to College Station and got all my friends to play. It was very popular.
That's Andrew rockin' defying gravity and getting 94%!

To top off the weekend, one of my friends was dunking her college ring.. which is when you put your ring at the bottom of a beverage of your choice, and then chug. It's not very pretty, but it's very entertaining. Then we all went out and partied to celebrate getting college rings! I had a long weekend, driving in and out of town, but it was worth it!

Oh, Mondays.

So earlier today I was like "Oh man, Mondays suck". But do they? Do they, really?

No.

I have a job interview tomorrow! Wish me luck! Maybe it's meant to be- maybe it's not. But, I'm crossing my fingers anyways. :)

I have to leave for photography like... now. But, I wanted to leave you with what I'm taking with me (confusing?) to class!

I started an etsy shop today!

I think I'll start listing some things tomorrow. Don't get too excited. ;)

I did find an amaaaazing dress today that I wanted for myself, but it's a tad too small. It zips, but I can't walk in it.. haha.

I'll update my blog again when things are up and in there, but I just wanted to throw the word out there.

Filler Photography Post.

Believe it or not I am still getting over these allergies/sinuses/virus things that have plagued me for going on eight days now. I'm functional, but I'd rather lay on the couch all day and read.

Oh wait- that's normal. ;) 

I took these pictures of my lovely (almost) little sister last weekend. We played with shadows, and reflections. I want to re-do now that I know we have a huge floodlight in our garage (thanks Dad for letting me know afterwards). 

I went out last night and took photos with the roommate, and we had so much fun! We drove five minutes to this great park by downtown and wandered around. 

In other news, I can't wait until this semester is over. I have four assignments and a test standing inbetween me and the end of school! We're getting close!

(and my niece is going to be born this month- eek! :))

Monday Monday gettin' down on Monday

What once was extra days that blended in with the rest of the week are now specific days in a specific order.

But seriously, this week is looking up! I had a test this morning, and so the worst is over!

I'm ready for the weekend!
Tonight I have another photo-adventure planned, and I'm excited to see what comes out of it!
This weeks (or really last weeks) assignment was to take photos of shadows, silhouettes, and reflections. So me and the roommate are going to head down to the park and take some photos.

Cupcakes Part Two.

I am feeling a bit better I think. I don't remember much after my test. I still feel kind of stuffy, but I'm totally functional now!
These photos were for my midterm portfolio. J was such a good model!

I don't have my laptop with me, and these were the only ones from this shoot that I had on flickr. Short, and sweet.

So I stayed in the darkness with you.

I am wide awake, even after getting only four hours of sleep last night. I took my bio test this morning, which was super unpleasant, and did I mention that I'm sick? I mentioned that my boyfriend had a sinus infection, but I think his doctor is wrong because now I have all the same symptoms... so either, allergies really hate us both or he was contagious (Or I have sympathy symptoms? haha)!

So earlier in the week I played around with darkness and shutterspeed, and I came out with some interesting photos I wanted to post. :)

Nothing too exciting, just my socks and my roommate! ;)
