Sweet Texas.

If you have Pinterest, then I'm sure you have seen this tutorial:

I decided I wanted to do one of Texas for our apartment/my room. Unfortunately after I painted it I realized the pinkish color would not match my room... at all. So it'll go in the living room somewhere. :)

It's a little messy, but I kind of like it that way. If I do it again, I would try and be a little more precise, and maybe paint Texas another coat of white paint. Oh well.
I cut out a texas stencil and painted over and around it. So easy! I definitely recommend this if you want a little craftiness on your walls!

Some photos I took for a photojournalism assignment. Top one is my fav! Can't wait to have more photo sessions soon! :)

Midnight Music.

So far this semester is dramatically different than the last.
No science or math classes. This is a first. Ever.
Instead of slaving over homework, I find myself editing on Photoshop and/or writing.
Twice a week, I nearly kill myself in cycling class. But it's already proving to be worth it.
My afternoons are busy, full of picking up girls from school and helping with homework, and pretending I know how to play volleyball.
I feel better.
Tonight, I'm listening to OneRepublic. They've been some of my faves since high school, and continue to make me feel inspired.

And also, I found a video that has this song played to a montage of harry potter scenes on pinterest... here. I'm not ashamed to say that it gives me goosebumps.

Where have I been?

I've been busy, and without internet, for three weeks.
Basically,
Nannying. Going to school. Moving. Driving. Reading. Making plans. Watching movies. Learning more photoshop. Taking photos. Editing photos. Thinking. A lot of thinking. Praying. Wishing. Hoping. Sleeping. Errands. Lots of errands. More driving.
It's been a crazy first month of school.
Going out of town this weekend, but next week I plan on posting. A lot. Get ready!
