Babies.

Lately I feel like they are everywhere! Hello, Baby Meredith.

Me & the grandparents got to babysit for a couple hours yesterday, and she couldn't have been cuter!

Weekend Love.

I had a lovely weekend with myself. :) I spent the weekend relaxing, shopping, and crafting. What more could I want? Nada. Sunday morning I went and picked up some beignets and saaaaaaavored them. yumyum! Ever since new orleans I've been craving myself some beignets. They are so delicious and powdery. I don't even like doughnuts, so this is a big step for me.
I crafted up a garland to hang over my bed and my measley/splotchy canvases. After looking at this picture, I really want to re-do them. I promise they don't look so weird in real life.
I also made myself a leather bracelet, which was surprisingly easy (after I ate dinner). Pictures on that latah. :) Happy Monday.

DIYing.

This is a weekend spent focusing on myself (everyone may be super busy..), so I went to Pinterest.

If I ever do this again, I plan on using fabric and not tissue paper.

Tissue paper and I do not get along. At all. Like I ended up ripping up a whole section of my red one. Because we're not really friends... and I hadn't eaten dinner yet. 

Also, while tissue paper is pretty and light, I feel like fabric will be heavier and therefore not blow around so much... since I will be hanging this in my room, this is an issue I must face.

So, right now it's hung up over my desk against a white wall and I'm thinking it'll look so much nicer against my dark grey wall.. but I already have stuff on that one.

The Big Easy.

Just some snaps from Easter weekend/my cousin's wedding in New Orleans.

Photoshop.

I am, and have been, a big fan of photoshop foevvvaaa. I've been taking an online class called Advanced Retouching for the past two weeks to actually hone some Photoshop skills... cause I usually skip over all those fun tools and just click a bunch of buttons until I like what I see. Holy moley, I can alter people's appearances now. It is creepy, but also kind of fun.. (; Of course I don't really want to broadcast all my retouching pictures because most of them aren't too exciting. But, I'm happy I'm finally learning some more photography things... it's been a while! In other news, I've been learning new hairstyles for my awful awful hair. Eeeeexcited! And this weekend me & the boyfriend are heading to new orleans for my cousin's wedding!
