End of April.

AH, the end of April is upon us. I don't know what to say. I don't even know what to DO. I have plans that will last me until the end of summer, but then WHAT you guys?! I don't even know. Post graduate life is weirding me out, its so fluid. I can do whatever I want (within reason, of course) and I can't handle the decision-making! It'd be nice if someone could just take what I want to do and mold it into something doable. Anyone have a job like that? Life coaches do exist...

SO ANYWAY, stress aside, its been a good month. I was appreciated for Administrative Professional's Day on Wednesday with a bouquet of CANDY. I can't even handle that. It was so nice. I've been scrapbooking up a crazy storm the past couple of weeks. I finally have most of the pictures where I want, so the fun part is about to happen! It has been a long process. I keep telling myself I will never have to do this again, but i know I won't keep up again and in five years I'll be doing it all over again.

How was your April?

Cade Martin.

I don't get blown away by photographers very much lately, not that I don't get blown away by specific pictures... but photographers as a whole. Until Cade Martin. Just someone I stumbled upon a while ago, and liked on facebook... every time he updates his feed I am speechless. Speechless.

Its very obvious the type of images I like of his... some fog, lots of greenery, and pretty people. Anywho, if you're interested check out his facebook page, or his website. He did an advertising campaign for tazo tea among other things. CAN'T. GET. ENOUGH.

So inspired to shoot. (:

Post Grad Life.

Post graduate life is so strange, you guys. I love it, and I don't wish to be back in undergrad but I do have a strange longing for graduate school. I'm not sure why because I have a feeling it is much more stressful than the past four years have been. But, I really want to go! So... there's that. Now to figure out where and exactly what I want to do. I'm one of those people with multiple passions and I can never narrow it down...

In other news, I visited some friends in College Station last weekend to take some Senior Portraits! I can't believe another semester has flown by! Eep! The portraits are turning out beautifully though. :) Sneak peek beloowwww.

Here's to another Monday! xoxo

Explore.

Would you believe me if I told you that this was across the street from my local target?

...no?

Well. It is. Its a bit hidden, but if you look hard enough you can see about five giant heads of former presidents. Oh, and if you get around to the back, the beatles will all show up. So thats cool.

This is a kind of weird, junkyard-y looking place, but that kind of makes it so much cooler. The heads are just sitting out there for you to take pictures with, dance around, or just stare at. Whatever you want. The boyfriend and I were the only ones there for a while so we weren't sure what we could or couldn't do. Is it appropriate to get inside the headless ones to take funny photos? Apparently it is.

There is also a GIANT i heart houston sign that is so beautifully colorful. But i did not take its picture. Another time, ladies and gents. Another time.

Boheme.

April, April, April.

Well technically these weren't taken in April. They were taken last weekend. Easter weekend. Thursday night we went to a local wine bar called Boheme and enjoyed the night on the patio. We sat underneath twinkly lights and watched a silent black & white film that is projected onto a blank wall outside. Its a pretty cool place. And smack close to my apartment!

Friday we all wandered around Houston. We stopped for ice cream at Baskin Robbins, and then meandered over to Hermann Park. The zoo was debated, but we ended up just trying to walk off all that ice cream. I always go for the double scoop even though i can't finish it. But then, in an ironic twist, we ended up getting frozen mimosas right after at one of my fav restaurants. A good, good weekend.

I'm really keeping up with these iPhone photo posts. Pat on the back, Abbey.

Happy Thursday!

Outdoors with Ronald.

These photos are from last week (I think?). The world was just beautiful, and I was in love with all of it.

Ever have those days?

Happy Monday!
