March Madness

This month is almost over. While its gone slow, its also gone fast. And that is kind of scary. We went to San Antonio, I've gotten insane amounts of froyo in my system, we've tried new bars, we've settled into old bars, I've gotten scratched so.many.times. by Ronald thats its ridiculous, I've missed the boyfriend, and I've thought so much about the future.

Also, I have a goal of reading 130 books this year. That seemed like not very many to me until I started! But don't worry- I'm on track! Its CRAZY. But I love it!

Happy Thursday! (I get Friday off, and I'm ready to do something drastic...)

Study.

Shorts: Gap // Sweater: Zara // Belt: Ann Taylor // Purse: J Crew // Cat: MINE

These photos came out a lot better than I expected. I'm not necessarily talking about my poses/my face, but just in general. I am loving the light & the background. Lovely. Good job, Abbey. A big pat on the back. Except for a bunch of those facial expressions. I'll have to work on those.

Guys I am obsessed with Ben Howard. I can't get over it.

Happy Monday.

In which I wear clothing & take photos.

Its been beautiful here in Houston. We're stuck in gorgeous spring weather, and I find it hard to complain about anything at all. I went shopping last week, and got this french bulldog graphic tee from Gap and ohhhhh my goodness. I've worn it all weekend. I have an obsession with bulldogs. Its bad.

In other news, I brought my tripod with me to take photos and then forgot the attachment for the camera... hence the awkwardly framed photos. Its rough getting back into this business.

happy hump day!

fakin' spring break [pt 2]

I took a couple videos on my iPhone last weekend, and here is what became of them. I love these people. Will hopefully have some more interesting posts this week if I can stop being so lazy after work!

fakin' spring break.

Boys and Girls, we spring breaked it up last weekend. We took a somewhat last minute trip to San Antonio, and I am soooo glad we did. I am working half days all week which gives me a lot of down-time but no down time to really get out of town. So we managed to get a couple hours away for the weekend. :)

We hit up Sea World. Yes, we did. We also hit up Buc-ees for some icees and ice cream cones. There's a real flattering picture of me with an ice cream cone in one hand and an icee in the other on fbook. Hey, if its vacay, you do it big, right? I've been working out hard this week.  The hotel we stayed at coincidentally ended up being the one my parents stayed at during their honeymoon! So that was a surprise(and kind of strange)!

Anyways, I'm glad to have gotten away with my best friends for a while. But I am dying to have the boyfriend back in town- he's camping all week! Without me!

A video may also be on the way. I didn't lug around my dslr, but the iphone was soo handy. I brought my waterproof case (you never know at seaworld!), but didn't need it... we sat out of the splash zone. Can't wait to do another weekend trip with these people!

Happy hump day! ;)

Oldies.

I took these self-portraits back in the summer when I had my bangs. Some days I miss them. Other days I can't wait for them to fully grow out (we're still in the awk in between stage). These days are quick, but long at the same time. I'm ready for friday!

Did anyone else know that Amazon Instant Video is on the wii now? Made my day. Now I can work out and watch old game of thrones episodes.
