A random Saturday adventure.

I talked a bit about my Easter weekend back here, but I don't think it does it justice like the video I edited! So, please watch our random Saturday adventure. Things you will find: batting cages, slow mo, me hitting a baseball, getting shot at with a water gun from bumper boats, DDR, me winning a stuffed animal frog, trampolines, more slow mo, me going to a wedding, also- four minutes of me laying on a bed talking to you.

Enjoy! ;)

Ranch via VIDEO.

Okay, here is the third and last installment from our ranch trip. I don't have much more to say on the matter (the first installments are here and here.).

Enjoy! :) xoxo

PS I'll be on a plane to New Zealand on SUNDAY. EEEEEEEP.

Spring Haul!

So, two weeks ago I did a little shopping venture with two of my besties. I needed shoes. AND I GOT SOME. When does THAT happen? First place I walked into & first pair I tried on. #win.

I made a little video on that shopping day, if you'd like to see what else I picked up!

Style Video

Remember way back here and here and here? Yea. Me too. ;)

Well, I finally came to a standstill on some of my current projects and I found this little lost unfinished project in my final cut pro folder. SO I decided to finish it & throw it online. So here is our little behind the scenes video of that lovely morning on the ranch.

I'm excited to do more of these on a bit grander of a scale. We shall see. The future holds exciting possibilities! Happy hump daaaaaay!

December Favorites

I made a video of some of my favorite things from december. If you are bored or interested, the video is below. :)

I cannot believe December is over. How is it already January 6th? How? Why, life? So many great things happened in December. A lot of strange things happened in December. Can I be more cryptic? Probably. Its a new year, so I expect a lot of changes. Its already been 6 months since I turned 23. WHAT. Have I accomplished ANYTHING? I don't know, you guys! Life is hard and so unexpected.

If you've read this far I want you to comment below the most interesting thing that happened to you this past year. I think the most interesting thing to happen to me is... drum roll, please... that I've decided to go to film school!

More on this later. :)

PS this is my 300th post. :)

Fall/Winter Clothing Haul

Welcome back from the weekend my friends. These weekends are flyyyyyinngg by. I don't understand it. Its time for another week! I'm hoping to catch up on all my personal projects this week, but I'm off to a bad start. I could not sleep last night, and woke up late this morning... so... fail. But the rest of the week I will wake up early! These are my aspirations in life.

Anywho, I made a youtube video of clothes I've been buying(/wearing everyday), and decided to share it today. Sooo check it out if you want, and don't look at my hair. For the entire video. Just don't. Okay, great! ;)

the target one dolla section & my uniform of late

Oh hello there. Have you been to target lately? You haven't? Wait, who am I kidding- yes, you have. We have a lovely target near my parents house & an even lovelier one near my apartment that I can go to for whatever reason. Target has everything! Lately, I've been going for books & movies, but the past couple of weeks their one dollar section in the front of the store has been AMAZING. I cannot sing their praises enough. You need giant christmas bags? Classy glass bowls? An adult-sized elf costume? A snowflake headband? Garlands? Super trendy stationary??? Of course you do. Let me show you what I've gotten.

Lately I have been living in my zara leggings. Its gotten to the point where jeans feel like eight layers on my skin. Only leggings will do. Sorry not sorry about wearing leggings as pants. I have no shame. I found this madewell reindeer/stag sweater in the sale section & would wear it everyday if I could... wait, I have no shame. It's the perfect weight.

On ma lips is amethyst potion (Maybelline color elixir lip gloss), and I am lovin' the plumminess. I filled in my brows with benefit's brow kit. They still look pretty gnarly, but they are mine and I will love them. I'm wearing nars couer battant on my cheekies which is pretty much a dance team blush. I have to rub it in with my fingers to get it to settle down! AND YEAH. Watch the video above if you want to see all the goodies from target.

Or better yet, just go to your local target & get you some fun things.

Happy Monday!

A little October Haul...

Last week I stopped into Sephora to replace my empty Detox Dry Shampoo by Drybar, and it started a chain of events. You know how those days go? I walked out of Sephora with my favorite dry shampoo (at least I got what I went for, right?), and a new lip butter by Korres. So far I am LOVING it. It's really moisturizing, and not too intense of color.

So, after I left Sephora I decided to step into Origins... why? I don't know. No pressing reason besides the fact that it was there. So while I walked in, I was like oh maybe I'll get that face wash I like. What did I leave with? Goodies. Lots of goodies. Anywho, I go on about it in the video below if you want to hear more. :)

Happy hump daaaaaaaay :)

Can you believe it's halloween tomorrow? Anyone got any good costumes?

ANOTHER WEEKEND HAS PASSED.

Oh my goodness, another weekend update. I was worried this weekend that I would get lonely. My roommate and pretty much all of my friends headed out of town this weekend. Luckily, I remembered that my bestest friends ever were still in town... my parents (and the boyfriend). I brought my parents over to my stomping ground, our local mexican restaurant. We drank the yummiest margaritas in houston and sat in the hustle and bustle of the friday night crowd. I thought they would hate it. But at the end of the night, my dad had told me about ten times how much fun he had. So, yay!

Last week, Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken came out and I blasted through those pages. Tears. Tears, you guys. Such a good series! Go read The Darkest Minds and Never Fade now!

Anywho, on Saturday, the boyfriend and I headed over to our favorite restaurant (torchys...) in their new location in the heights. Afterwards we walked a couple blocks down to get a healthy juice and then popped into some of the antique stores lining the sidewalk. The boyfriend found a vintage suede vest that he's hoping to incorporate into his halloween costume.

The rest of the weekend was spent watching halloween movies, watching football with my daddio, and discussing my future with my momma. Times are a changin', but some things never change.

Monday night, the boyfriend and roommate joined me for dinner at Cedar Creek in the heights. Mainly because I wanted a cupcake and they have yummy ones. They decorated them for halloween with sugar skulls on top of them. As you can see, we enjoyed biting into them. (ok, actually i did not enjoy it at all. such a weird consistency).

I filmed a quick video of me opening my ipsy bag. If you're interested in ipsy- check it out! ok, love you, byeeeeeee! :)

PS I GOT MY HURR CUT.

Halloween Themed Books.

Do you re-read certain books around Christmas-time? Or around Halloween? I definitely watch christmas themed movies during the holidays, and I am OBSESSED with Halloweentown every year when october rolls around. All of the halloweentowns have my heart. Are they cheesy? Perhaps. BUT THEY ARE GREAT. Just one of those things, I guess.

Anyway. I digress. This October I've been reading up a storm to keep up with my Goodreads challenge, so I've been trying to read halloween-ish books. SO, I made a handy little youtube video full of my new halloween-y books.

If you are interested, take a look. I even dress up in costume... sort of.

Painting Pumkins

On Tuesday night a couple of my friends got together to spray paint some pumpkins. This is not unheard of if you have been on pinterest. Like a lot of things on pinterest, every thing is harder once you actually attempt it yourself. We had a couple of near misses, but for the most part they came out cute! I made a little video commemorating the occasion.

In other Halloween news, I just finished the coldest girl in coldtown by Holly Black. The whole time I was reading it I was thinking "now this is how a vampire book should be written". Sorry, Twilight. I am not ashamed of admitting it.

Anywho... tell me what you're doing for halloween. I need a good costume! I'm going all out this year, friends... All out!

That time I tried to VLOG.

It was a rough week last week when it came to me trying to be a good blogger. I was all "I'm going to vlog all the cool things I'm doing this week". Then those cool things fell apart into different things, and then time seemed to slip away from me, and my iphone batteries got low, and nothing wanted to WORK. So I said que sera sera to the fates, and cut my losses. What I have left is this video of me talking about the things I wanted to vlog and then DIDN'T. I tried, at least? Props? I give myself props.

On Friday night, the boyfriend and I went to the Sara Bareilles/OneRepublic concert. OneRepublic is my favorite band at the moment. Their album 'Native' is on repeat in my apartment, in my headphones, and in my car. It is just seamlessly meshing with my life and mood right now, so I'm going with it.

Anywho. Enjoy some photos, and if you want to watch me fail at vlogging, check out the video below!

A little late for a blue jean vest? No? Good.

The weekend passed. As it always does. I did find out some very exciting news last week, but I think I will keep it under wraps until I come to terms with it myself. Eep. The boyfriend got out of class at seven yesterday, and I made him labor away taking photos & videos for me before we ate dinner at our favorite spot. I bought this blue jean vest at GAP along with some cute ankle trousers that will be debuting sometime soon. I had a 30% off coupon and the vest was on sale so how could I say no?

I couldn't.

I know summer is almost over, but I'm thinking I'm going to transition this bad boy into fall.

It'll work.

So, as you can see we got some work done. My goodness look at my freckles and moles! The curse of having pale skin. It's also time to get acquainted with my other sunglasses. The black aren't doing it for me as much anymore.

Happy Tuesday, ladies!

xoxo

Beauty Haul

I have made another youtube video of things I've purchased in the past month! If you are interested in hauls, or things in general, then you should watch the above video. ^^^

In other news, it is my roommate's birthday today! Happy birthday Roomie! It's our last birthday we will share living together! ;(

Happy Friday!

xoxo

My first book haul + blog video.

Helloooooo... and Happy Monday! The school year has officially begun for pretty much everyone! Eep! That means the boyfriend AND the roommate have started back in classes, which means a lot of weird feelings are coming my way! To combat these feelings I have picked up some books that I mean to read soon. I've also been youtubing it up all weekend, and decided to make my first youtube video! Its a book haul. Which seems kind of silly, now that I'm done with it. But if you're interested, it is posted below. You can skip the first three or so minutes because it is just me rambling about goodreads and their 2013 reading challenge that I have taken on. ANYWHO, after doing the video I realized I will probably have to review some of these books in the future. We shall see, friends. We shall see.
Check it out below:
