January was short-lived.

This month is coming to a close, and the past week and a half was a doozy. A good and bad doozy. I have a lot of things to do on my plate right now, but aside from that a lot of fun moments have happened recently. I moved home a couple weeks ago, so I am still settling into my little upstairs area. The boyfriend came over for the seahawks & 49ers game- go seahawks- and we witnessed Sherman's little meltdown live. So I felt like I was on the inside for football news last weekend. I have been doing Project Life over the past six or seven months & am almost caught up to current (I started with photos from 2011). That stack of photos is what stands between me and 2014.

On Thursday night I headed out to a bar for a friend's work happy hour. It was the night before the "big ice storm". Guys, we live in houston and ice is as good as ten foot snow. Of course the only thing to do that night was to steal my friend's phone and send snapchats to all my friends.

This past weekend was relaxing especially because tuesday we got to take off for another "ice storm". Thanks, Houston! I go back to work today, but I only have three days left till the weeeeeeekend! My brother & future sister-in-law had a couples shower on Saturday which I was wildly unprepared for- but I made it anyways. We didn't take any photos, but we did take a photo afterward while waiting to pick-up a pizza from star pizza (my love).

Also, included a little video I edited from New Years! Happy Hump daaaaaay! xoxo

Labor Day via iPhone videos.

The iPhone is so great. We all know this (even you android users). I love that I can take it anywhere, and not worry about its weight or water (if you have a waterproof case) or if you even really need to bring it. This video is purely from iphone videos. Some of them are grainy, but its just part of the charm.

Enjoy. :)

the finale san fransisco video...

I lied about that last post about san fransisco being the last last post... it was the last picture post, but it wasn't the end! This, my friends, is the end of our san fransisco trip. It seems like so long ago already (only three weeks?!). It helped my travel bug a bit, but I am still not cured.

SO ANYWAY. Before I tangent into all my travel wants & needs, I will go back in time and watch this video and feel a teensy bit better... :)

the 4th weekend through my eyes.

This week is going to be fun! I'm jetsetting to san francisco on thursday for a long weekend. I've never been to california AT ALL, so I am psyched. It is also my birthday weekend (i almost forgot). So if anyone knows something I should NOT miss out on while in "the city" please do let me know! Other than that I'll be working a bit, and TRYING TO FIGURE OUT MY LIFE. no big deal.

Anywho. Back to the meaning of this post. The fourth of july was already two weeks ago (time goes so quickly- sob) and I just now got around to editing the videos I took. We got some great fireworks that made the neighbors ooh and aahh... we also had some that made a little kid boo us. UM SORRY. :) Anyway, its not the most exciting of videos but i'm happy to have documented it accurately... a relaxed weekend full of games, yummies, and fireworks, oh and friends and family of course.

Camping PT 2.

So two weeks later...

I've been so busy that blogging has fallen by the wayside. HERE FINALLY is the end of our camping trip. I wanted to take some really artsy shots but it was right before we were leaving and the sun was hot hot hot and neither of us felt like wearing anything other than t-shirts and shorts. So we did the best with what we had. I miss this trip already, it was so relaxing and nice to be with my closest friends and family!

Architects of Air

Last Thursday evening, me and the roommate ventured over to Discovery Green Downtown to check out Architects of Air. It looks like a giant bouncy castle, but its made up of a very thin plastic called PVC and its basically just a plastic cathedral light house... but, really. You have to take off your shoes (my fav part, actually... haha), but you get to keep your cameras. Check out the video below to see it...

I would definitely recommend going if it comes to your city! We frolicked through the pods, pretending we were in another world. You can start to feel a bit alien-esque...

fakin' spring break [pt 2]

I took a couple videos on my iPhone last weekend, and here is what became of them. I love these people. Will hopefully have some more interesting posts this week if I can stop being so lazy after work!

Galveston Finale.

The last tidbit of mementos from Galveston. I cannot stress enough how beautiful of a day it was. The sun was perfect and the weather was in the 60s! Perfect texas day if I ever saw one.

Happy Tuesday!

My weekend was the ultimate relaxed weekend, and I think I'm finally feeling rejuvenated from the holidays. Which, if you were my mom, you would think is absurd. BUT, I am 22 and need hibernating time, okay? In this period of relaxed state, I played around with these new years videos of mine. I'm getting the hang of this editing thing, and am looking forward to some new editing projects coming my way. :)

In the mean time, please watch my friends and I almost get blown up by luminous fireworks.

Still in a holidaze.

I'm kind of in disbelief at how quickly the past three weeks went by. I graduated on the twenty-first of December, and then it was Christmas eve, and then Christmas, and then more Christmas with friends and siblings, one of my niece's birthdays, and then New Years! I am finally home for good, and totally exhausted.

I've put together the rest of our Gingerbread making session videos. We didn't do too well on baking the cookies (most came out burnt), but we sure did decorate them!..... :)

Merry Christmas Eve.

Some of our gingerbread making fun... :) Love the holidays, and the wonderful friends I get to spend them with! Merry Christmas Eve, everyone!

t-giving break.

After a weekend of laughter, poker learning, shooting arrows, and sitting in front of a campfire... I bring you this:

Our weekend at the lake. I miss it already.
